The OEM BMW water pump pulley on the M5x series of engines is plastic and can easily become brittle and break. We have been selling our aluminum water pump pulley upgrade for years, but decided to give it a diet and shave 2.5 ounces of rotating mass. Introducing our new lightweight aluminum water pump pulley. CAD designed, we removed as much material as possible, while keeping the structural integrity. Not only is this pump lighter, but looks the part too. CNCd from 6061 aluminum, we then anodize it to prevent any corrosion.
