If you have ever worked on an older BMW, it is more than likely you have stripped the brake bleeders before. Overtime, corrosion can occur on the threads, and if you do not use the correct wrench, you will round of the hex on the bleeders. It is also more than likely you have lost the rubber cap, which protects from any dirt or debris entering your brake system.
Replace all 4 of your bleeders today. Add an optional brake bleeder wrench which will not only prevent you from rounding off your bleeders, but make bleeding a breeze.
