BimmerInvasion Takes Over LA: A Day of Extreme Heat, Unforgettable Builds, and BMW Passion

On September 7th, 2024, BimmerInvasion stormed the West Coast, bringing the best of the BMW community to the Irwindale Speedway. With over 1,000 BMWs gathered under the blistering 110-degree heat, the event showcased some of the most impressive builds the community has ever seen. Enthusiasts and vendors endured the intense conditions to celebrate their shared love for the iconic Bavarian brand, proving that nothing could stop the passion for performance and style.

Marv’s E36 M3 Touring:

Marv’s E36 M3 Touring, a  unique build that blended the practicality of a wagon with the performance and pedigree of the M3. This car turned heads with its Pandem Widebody and S54 Engine Swap, becoming a favorite among enthusiasts who appreciate the understated brilliance of BMW's classic M cars.

Adro's Jaw-Dropping Builds

Adro made waves at BimmerInvasion with not just one but two standout builds that attracted massive attention. His SEMA widebody G82 M4 was a showstopper, featuring aggressive styling and flawless execution, perfect for the prestigious SEMA stage. The bold design, paired with a custom widebody kit, made this M4 one of the most photographed cars at the event.

But Adro didn’t stop there. He also debuted the GR Supra Facelift Kit, which was equally breathtaking. This kit reimagined the already iconic Toyota Supra, giving it a fresh and more aggressive aesthetic. The GR Supra's sleek lines and sharper front fascia drew crowds throughout the day, proving that Adro’s vision and craftsmanship are at the cutting edge of automotive design.

Creativity in Motion

One of the most talked-about builds was JalopyE30’s BMW E30, a true DIY masterpiece. Using arts and crafts supplies from Michael’s, Home Depot, and Etsy, JalopyE30 reupholstered the entire interior by hand and even repurposed a beer barrel as an air tank for his air suspension. His creativity and ingenuity made his build one of the most unique at the event, proving that the BMW scene is as much about personal expression as it is about performance.

Dynamic Duo: DJ Dub’s E90 and Bmdoubledru’s F80

DJ Dub's E90 exemplifies the perfect balance of race, street, and show. This pristine build has been meticulously modified to stand out in any setting, whether on display at a car show, tearing up the racetrack, or running errands around town. Its versatility and attention to detail make it a standout in every category.

Bmdoubledru's Atlantis F80 has inspired countless F8X owners with its carefully selected modifications, designed not only for aesthetics but also for functionality. Every detail serves a purpose, proving that form and function can coexist seamlessly in a show-stopping build.

Both the E90 and F80 also rocked an additional functional spare BBS wheel, reinforcing the practical and performance-oriented ethos of these iconic cars.
